Fabric

We choose fabrics that are made from natural fibres because they are good for your pet's health and the environment.

Our fabrics are made from responsibly grown natural plant fibre and coloured using eco-friendly dyes. Hemp, pure linen, and certified organic cotton are naturally hypoallergenic, thermoregulating, moisture wicking and biodegradable.

SERIOUSLY SUSTAINABLE

Hemp Fabric

Hemp is one of the most sustainable materials available, and the fabric comes from the same place as our webbing, the fibres in the hemp plant's stalk.

By now, you may have already learnt about the many amazing benefits of hemp through searching our website, but in case you've missed it, check out our Why Hemp? page.

We use both 100% hemp fabric and a hemp/organic cotton blend, depending on the project. You can find more details in the materials tab on each product page.

LONG LASTING

Natural Linen

Linen is made from fibres inside the stalk of the Flax plant, which is grown and produced very similar to hemp. It's highly sustainable and uses very little resources to grow.

Linen is a long-lasting fabric that gets softer with age, meaning less waste; plus, it's recyclable and biodegradable. It's natural, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, temperature regulating, antimicrobial, breathable and comfortable.

We use 100% natural natural linen, which is coloured using eco-responsible, water-based dyes and certified OKEO-TEX Standard 100 process.

CERTIFIED GOTS

Organic Cotton

Cotton is another natural fibre that has been widely used for thousands of years. It's made from the fluffy white ends of the cotton plant, which are spun into yarn and woven to make fabric.

While cotton is a natural product, growing and processing it uses a lot of environmental resources. It’s commonly sprayed with harmful pesticides and chemicals, polluting soil and waterways. For this reason, we only ever use certified organic cotton, so you can be sure there are no nasties in our fabric.

Our cotton fabric is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certified and coloured using low-impact dyes and eco-friendly, water-based inks.
